Walking In Spiritual Light By Living The Paschal Mystery

Reference Scripture:  John 9:35-41, 'Healing spiritual blindness'.

Repentant Christ-centered, spiritually awake believers in all the world religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups, can avoid spiritual blindness. The historical Jesus is humankind's universal model of spiritually awake human beings, walking in spiritual light. By following the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery, we can all walk in spiritual light. The universal Christ of Faith is the presence, provision, providence and protection of God, as Trinity, in the spiritual body of the historical Jesus and all people [John 14:6, Colossians 2:9].

With total dependence on God and steadfastly faith, the historical Jesus trusted and obeyed the commandments and guidance of Abba Father, the indwelling and incarnate Christ of Faith, and the Holy Spirit, in his spiritual body. Through his Christ-centered spiritual mindedness, the historical Jesus was able to not only know, he was also able to do and teach God’s perfect will. The historical Jesus walked in God's light, grace and truth, by living the Paschal Mystery.

The Christ of Faith is Omnipresent, living Spirit. The invisible Christ of Faith is the Image and Likeness of God, in the spiritual body of every human being. The Christ of Faith is the Eternal Son of God, individualized, in and through the spiritual body of the historical Jesus and every person [Genesis 2:7, 1 Corinthians 15:45, Colossians 1:26-27].

Because of the historical Jesus' steadfast faith, humility and obedience to the incarnate Christ of Faith, he became the unique and full human manifestation of the Christ of Faith, in human flesh. The indwelling Christ of Faith is mankind's true, Universal Shepherd, in the spiritual body of all humankind.

Have you discerned, trusted, obeyed and fully surrendered to the Christ of Faith, as Universal Lord, through your spiritual body, as revealed in your own unique religion, culture, ethnic and secular group?
Will you steadfastly walk in spiritual light, by following the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery?

Paschal Mystery - Inward Well of Living Water

Scripture Text: John 4:13-16, 'The Inward Well of Living Water'

Spiritual blindness is especially evident in the historical Jesus’ discourse about the Water of Life, with the Samaritan woman.  Initially she was not able to hear, discern and understand Jesus' allegory about the hidden, living water, springing forth, from an inexhaustible supply, within her spiritual body and the spiritual body of every person. Jesus actually revealed to this woman the transforming presence and activity of the Christ of Faith, through the spiritual body, of all who choose to believe and follow him in living the Paschal Mystery. 

This living water Jesus declared, will satisfy humankind's universal, spiritual quests to re-connect with God, our universal Abba Father, and each other, our universal brothers and sisters. The salvation and redemption of mankind's eternal spiritual birthright are realized through faith, humility, honesty and obedience. They are revealed and appropriated in the power of the Holy Spirit, through the universal indwelling Christ of Faith, the image of God, in the spiritual body of every person [Matthew 5:6, John 4:13-14]. 

This mysterious spring up of living water, gushing up to eternal life, is the universal Christ of Faith, the presence, image and likeness of God, in the spiritual body of every human being, in every religion, culture, ethnic and secular group. The historical Jesus, with God's help, aligned his heart, mind and emotion and action with Divine Mind in Divine Order. Jesus realized and appropriated the full descent, incarnation and manifestation of the Christ of Faith, in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, through his spiritual body.

Today’s Gospel lesson demonstrates how intellectual, human knowledge of scripture without correct spiritual discernment, produces confusion, error thinking and deep seated sin, in matters of the human spirit, heart, intentions, emotions and behavior. These inner, hidden subconscious and unconscious dimensions of our lives, require spiritual resurrection and spiritual understanding, in order to attain and maintain, proper daily practical application of the Gospel of Christ, in our human lives and relationships.  They require steadfastly following the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery.

Spiritually blind, literal minded believers in all religions, cultures, ethic and secular groups choose to draw their life, energy and perspectives, primarily from the earthly [Jacob’s well]. They are born from below. They choose to let their hearts and minds dwell in the lower source and broken cisterns of the unregenerate mind of the flesh. During this 2011 Lenten Season, spiritually awake believers in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups  are admonished to seek and serve the Christ of faith, as God Substance, Grace and Truth, gushing forth through our spiritual bodies, as the Living Water unto eternal life [John 1:17]. 

In the Gospel of Christ, the historical Jesus admonishes believers in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups to follow him, in being born from above [Mark 8:34]. Jesus affirms that by faith, we can all repent and believe the Gospel of the universal indwelling Christ of Faith. With God's help, we can all embrace the creative, universal process of Christ-centered, spiritual mindedness, which he taught and modeled. With God's help, we can all awake spiritually. We can all establish Christ-centered spiritual formation and relationships, in all the world religions, cultural, ethnic and secular groups. With God's help we can all seek and re-establish kingdom living here on earth, in our daily lives, as it already is in heaven, the spiritual dimensions of our lives.

Paschal Mystery: Being Born From Above

Reference Scripture: John 3:1-17, 'The Resurrected Life In The Christ of Faith'

Choosing the dominion of the mind of the flesh is enmity against God’s will and law all mankind [Romans 8:7-8]. Jesus fully modeled the crucified human mind of his own flesh. He fully manifested the resurrected human mind and life [Mark 4:1-11]. In today's Gospel narrative, the historical Jesus describes the resurrected human life to Nicodemus, as being born from above.

The spiritual birth which Jesus Christ describes to Nicodemus in John 3:1-17, is the Paschal Mystery. The universal Gospel of the Christ of Faith, always teaches, reveals, models and proclaims how humankind, in all the world religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups, with God's help, can follow the historical Jesus in crucifying our mind of the flesh and experience the resurrected life, while living in our physical bodies. The historical Jesus, maintained his union and communion with our Father, God, by keeping his gaze on the indwelling and  incarnate Christ of Faith, through his spiritual body.

By crucifying the mind of the flesh and embracing the Universal Presence and Universal Mind of the Christ of Faith, the historical Jesus proclaimed and establish his oneness (solidarity) with all seekers of the resurrected life, in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups. Jesus revealed, taught and modeled, the proper mental alignment and the full incarnation of the universal Christ of Faith, the image of God in and through the spiritual body of every person [Genesis 1:26-27, John 17:22-23].

God's has always communed and unified with all humankind through the indwelling Christ of Faith, His image and likeness, in the spiritual body of every person [John 3:16-17]. Through the dominion of the Christ mind and the resurrected life, we can love the historical Jesus, the universal Christ of Faith, ourselves and our neighbors, with all our hearts. With God's help, are you willing to seek and re-gain the fullness, power and glory of the resurrected life, which God has revealed to all mankind in the historical Jesus? Will you steadfastly follow the historical Jesus, in living the Paschal Mystery, and manifest Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-based kingdom living, while in your present human flesh, as it is in heaven [Matthew 6: 9-10, John 1:17, Ephesians 2:4-10]?

Living The Paschal Mystery: Basis Of New Life In Christ

In today's Epistle, the apostle Paul steadfastly affirms that through one man, the historical Jesus, God's free gifts of deliverance from slavery to sin, salvation, redemption, grace, love, truth, righteousness and abundant life have been revealed and made available to all mankind. Down through the ages and generations however, by carnal, mortal and worldly human choices, mankind continues to follow Adam in disobedience, sin and error thinking. We continue to reject God's unique plan for our human lives individually and collectively. The mind of the flesh, continues to inappropriately dominate human souls, hearts, minds, relationships and lives.   

In Romans 5:17, the apostle Paul summarizes God's universal solution to the awful human problems of slavery to sin and alienation from God and one another. He declares, "For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death remained through the one, much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and free gift of righteousness [putting them in right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the One man, Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

God's universal liberation from slavery to sin and passing over into the new life in the Christ of faith, is available to all mankind in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups, through repentance, faith, humility, proper alignment and the incarnation of the indwelling Christ of Faith, through one’s own spiritual body. The historical Jesus has pioneered, revealed and facilitated this most awesome, decisive and drastic transformation and change in human spirituality, morality, ethics, behavior, relationships and lives.

Jesus as Messiah, taught and modeled the proper human spiritual, mental, emotional, ethical and physical alignments, needed to experience the full incarnation, effective appropriation and magnificent glory of the indwelling Christ of Faith, the hidden image and likeness of God, in the spiritual body of every person, through their own religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups. In his life, suffering, crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension the historical is the physical man, who literally lived the parable, metaphor and mystery of mankind's universal repentance, deliverance from slavery to sin, as the Paschal Mystery.

The historical Jesus is the man who initially, revealed, taught and modeled the universal human initiatives of faith, humility, obedience, agape love and truth, which all mankind need, to be healed of spiritual blindness, spiritual lameness, and spiritual deafness. Jesus revealed and taught the metaphysical and mystical truth found in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups, which are  needed to awaken mankind from spiritual sleep. The historical Jesus revealed and modeled the divine initiatives of God's grace, mercy, love and truth needed to resurrect all mankind from spiritual death.

Have you through repentance, faith, humility and obedience, chosen to put on the mind and nature of the Christ of Faith, the image and likeness of God, in your spiritual body? Have you decided to follow the historical Jesus, in living the Paschal Mystery? Will you with God's help, seek and serve the Christ of Faith in all persons, and practice kingdom living here on earth, as it is in heaven?

The Paschal Mystery is the truth which is emerging and unfolding, about the resurrected Christ of Faith and the Holy Spirit, forming Christ-centered, spiritually awake witnessing faith communities, in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups. This is one of the most exciting, profound and positive changes now taking place, throughout our planet. This spiritual awakening is occurring because of sincere and steadfast Christ-centered prayer, faith, fasting from error thinking and the practice of agape love.  Sincere spiritually awake believers in every religions are now embracing God's universal and changeless grace, agape love and truth, as revealed in the sacred texts, writing and oral traditions of all religions.
