Living the Paschal Mystery, the Believer's Sure Hope

Scripture Text: 1 Peter 1:3-9, 'A living hope'

Recognizing, experiencing, appropriating and sharing the Good News of spiritual resurrection, through the incarnation and reign of Christ of Faith, within human souls, hearts, minds, lives and relationships is living the Paschal Mystery. Deliverance from slavery to sin, and kingdom living in eternal and abundant life, here on earth are the universal hopes of Christ-centered, spiritually awake believers in all the world religions, culture, ethnic and secular groups, who choose to deny self, take up their cross daily and follow the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery  

Living the Paschal Mystery by following the historical Jesus, is the mission, opportunity and challenge of Christ-centered, spiritually awake believers in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups now have. Christ-centered spiritually awake believers are the universal body of the resurrected Christ of Faith, throughout our planet. What is the nature of your personal choice, knowledge, experience and relationship with God in and through the Christ of Faith, in your spiritual body? Do you believe your Father as Universal Spirit, is different from the historical Jesus’ indwelling Abba Father?

To restrict the Christ of Faith to the name and the personality the historical Jesus of Nazareth, is to give God’s universal, spiritual gift, His Image and Likeness, unintended carnal, mortal, material and human limitation [Genesis 1:26-27, John 3:16]. This limited perception continues to hide and veil the historical Jesus' universal call to spiritual resurrection, living one's life centered in the incarnate Christ of Faith as Lord and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The historical Jesus challenges all people to dwelling in Christ consciousness, while living in our present physical bodies,  [Acts 2:1-11].

By God's plan and design, every human has the Christ of Faith, God's Image and Likeness, in our spiritual bodies [Genesis 1:26-27, Colossians 1:26-27]. The eternal hope of Christ-centered, spiritually awake believers in all religious, cultures, ethnic and secular groups is that by faith, all humans will enter and dwell in the mysterious upper room experience of the ‘I AM THAT I AM’, through, proper mental alignment, the incarnation and the full manifestation of the Christ of Faith in and through our spiritual bodies.

When dwelling in spiritual blindness, spiritual deafness, spiritual sleep and spiritual death, human beings miss the historical Jesus' Easter message of universal spiritual resurrection from spiritual death, by believing and follow the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery.  Sincere carnal, mortal and worldly minded, misinformed believers miss entering the Promised Land, being sealed by the Holy Spirit and dwelling in the power and glory of the incarnate Christ of Faith, which the historical Jesus revealed, taught and modeled, while in his physical body, here on earth.

Are you choosing to embrace the blessings of deliverance from slavery to sin,  eternal salvation and the sure reward of eternal life, by following the historical Jesus, in living the Paschal Mystery (Matthew 19:27-31)? Are you seeking, with God help to discern and enter the Heavenly City, the New Jerusalem now in our midst and within each of us (Revelation 21:2-7)? Are you, within your witnessing faith community caring, teaching, proclaiming, healing and modeling the Christ-centered kingdom living, which the historical Jesus promised, while here on earth (John 14:8-14)?

The Paschal Mystery And Resurrected Easter People

Christ centered faith, repentance, salvation and redemption, as revealed in the historical Jesus are direct, dynamic, powerful and Spirit-based human experiences [John 14:6]. The spiritually awake believer is resurrected from spiritual death and now born from above. God's intended Kingdom living in and through the universal Christ of Faith cannot be discerned nor experienced by spiritually deaf, spiritually blind and spiritually dead, human hearts, souls, minds, relationships and lives.   

The historical Jesus lived a Christ-centered and spiritually awake life. He taught that God as Spirit comes to all, as the indwelling Christ of Faith, through the spiritual body of every human being. Throughout his life and ministry, the historical Jesus spoke from the heights of human spiritual awakening,  perception and experience. Jesus proclaiming the deathless reality of human life in the incarnate Christ of Faith.    

Jesus taught and modeled the human experience of Christ crucified, Christ resurrected, Christ incarnate and Christ enthroned, as the true center of the born from above human experience, and God's original plan for Kingdom living for all human kind, here on earth. In Colossians 1:25-27, Paul outlines his and the historical Jesus' mission and ministry, given to him by God through the indwelling and incarnate Christ of Faith.

Spiritually awake believers in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups realizes that God’s changeless plan is for all humankind to grasp and apply all that the risen historical Jesus has uncovered in the Paschal Mystery. Jesus taught and modeled how God reveals Himself through the Christ of Faith in the spirits, souls, hearts, minds, emotions and lives of all people [John 10:30, John 17:20-26]. That is the reason why Christ-centered, spiritually awake believers in all the world religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups steadfastly follow the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery.

The Paschal Mystery And Kingdom Living

Scripture Reference: Philippians 2:5-11, 'Imitating the historical Jesus' humility'.

The essential message of the Gospel of Christ is the establishment of God's reign and kingdom living through the Christ of Faith, in the souls, hearts, minds and relationships of all humankind [Luke 17:20-21, John 3:16-17]. Spiritually awake believes in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups discern that the historical Jesus’ personally revealed, taught and modeled this triumphant inner spiritual kingdom living, as a way of life, here on earth. Unfortunately carnal, mortal and worldly minded believers in all religions remain spiritually deaf, spiritually blind, spiritually asleep and spiritually dead to the spiritual reality and truth of this Paschal Mystery in Gospel of Christ.  

Jesus’ personal Christ-centered, Spirit-based belief system and religious practices demonstrated his direct personal knowledge, intimate communion and unity with Our Father, God,  the Christ of Faith, and the Holy Spirit individualized and incarnate in human flesh, through his spiritual body [John 10:30]. Jesus modeled God’s presence, grace, love and truth. The historical Jesus is therefore rightfully called the Christ, our Savior, Lord and Master.

Through humility, repentance, surrender and obedience to the light and the voice of the Christ of Faith, the apostle Paul experienced a radical, Christ-centered spiritual awakening and civil transformation in relationships. Are you willing to follow the historical Jesus in your triumphant entry into Jerusalem, God's habitation of Peace? Are you seeking the incarnation and reign of the Christ of Faith in and through your spiritual body [Matthew 16:24, Colossians 2:5]? Are you willing to follow the historical Jesus in kingdom living, by following Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery?

Civil Mindsets and Lifestyles, when living the Paschal Mystery

Romans 8:6-11, 'Life in the Spirit'

In John 11:25, the historical Jesus declared to Martha, "I am, [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in and relies on) me, although he may die; yet he shall live. This startling announcement and revelation of God's Presence, Image, Likeness, Grace, Truth and Love, the universal Christ of Faith, in the human flesh, in the historical Jesus is one aspect of the Paschal Mystery. Spiritual discernment reveals that when ever the historical Jesus uses the term 'I Am', in referring to himself, he is talking about the eternal, invisible, universal, indwelling Christ of Faith, who became fully incarnate and fully manifested in his physical human body, here on earth.  

When the historical Jesus went to the gravesite of Lazarus his close and dear friend, he had already lifted up his eyes to the hills, in Christ-centered, spiritual consciousness. Lazarus' ‘tomb’, is symbolic of mankind's prevailing spiritual deafness, spiritually blindness, spiritual lameness, spiritual sleep and spiritual death (John 11:38-43). We are now realizing that the historical Jesus, Lazarus and all humankind are eternally connected with the Father, the Christ of Faith and the Holy Spirit through our spiritual bodies (John 17:20-23). The historical Jesus demonstrated to his disciples, that Lazarus was an eternal spiritual being going through a temporary incarnate human experience.

Jesus Christ has a unique way of bringing the spiritual dimensions of our lives back into mankind's conscious awareness. When we repent and in faith turn to and lift up the indwelling Christ of Faith, through our spiritual bodies, our Father, God will always hear us. Like Lazarus we will also experience inner spiritual resurrection into eternal life, through the Christ of Faith and the Holy Spirit.

In Romans 8:6-11, the apostle Paul compares and contrasts two prevailing human mindsets and lifestyles, within witness faith communities in all the world religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups. He makes plain, the sharp and often subtle differences between the mindsets and lifestyles of those who live according to the mind of the flesh, and those who live according to the mind of the Spirit. In this text, life in the mind of the Spirit refers to the mindset and lifestyle, which embrace the mind of Christ, which the historical Jesus revealed, taught and modeled, throughout his 33-year incarnate human experiences.

It is interesting to note that resurrection from spiritual death, awakening from spiritual sleep and healing spiritual blindness, spiritual lameness and spiritual deafness, do not exempt human beings from physical death. Our physical bodies are still mortal and subject to physical death. The Christ-centered, spiritually resurrected believer, who chooses to steadfastly follow the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery however, is endowed with a new quality of mindset and lifestyle, which triumphs over spiritual sickness, spiritual sleep and spiritual death, here on earth.

At the end of this present age of human incivility, the destructive and divisive human mindsets and lifestyles, modeled after the mind of the flesh, will be destroyed. To the degree that we choose to reject the mind of the flesh and surrender to the presence and reign of the universal indwelling Christ of Faith, through our spiritual bodies, mankind is again experiencing the resurrection of normal, civil human mindsets, lifestyles and relationships, which God originally designed for all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups.

Throughout his earthly ministry, the historical Jesus primarily focused on teaching, and sharing mindsets and lifestyles, which produce universal resurrection from spiritual death.  Jesus modeled the daily practical application of principles and practices for healing spiritual blindness, spiritual deafness and produce awakening from spiritual sleep. These universal teaching are found in the sacred text and oral traditions of all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups. Jesus also taught universal, moral and ethical mindsets and lifestyles, which reject incivility and promote civility in human attitudes, intentions, actions and relationships throughout our planet.

As God's Word, the Logos forever gives universal life to all creation. The historical Jesus revealed how the universal Christ of Faith, the Logos individualized in the spiritual of every persons, brings spiritual resurrection, eternal and abundant life, to all who follow Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery. The universal civil mindsets, lifestyles and relationships, which are mankind's normal divine heritage and birthright, are now being re-established throughout our planet, as we choose to follow the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery.
