Disciples Facilitate And Observe The Fall Satan

Scripture Text: Luke 10:16-20, 'Disciples Observe The Fall Of Satan'.

In Scripture, Jesus of Nazareth always located the kingdom of heaven within each person, among us and in our midst [Luke 17:20-21]. In today's Gospel reading Luke 10:1-11, Jesus selected and sent 72 disciples to go before him into the places he intended to visit at a future time. He commissioned them to, subdue and cast out the forces of evil by curing the sick and proclaiming the presence and activity of the kingdom of God, in their midst.

In Luke 10:16-20, the 72 disciples returned to Jesus filled with great joy, because of their success in fulfilling their mission. They declared that even demons submitted to them when they healed and proclaimed the truth of the Gospel of Christ and the kingdom of God in Jesus' name.  The disciples actually observed the fall of Satan from the kingdom of heaven, within themselves and within those they cured and healed in Jesus' name.

The bible has always revealed and declared that the Satanic world system is the chief foe of God's eternal plan of true Christ-centered spirituality and kingdom living within all humankind. In today's Gospel Luke 10:18, Jesus of Nazareth as the Son of Man, said to these 72 disciples, as they returned and were surprised by the power and control they also had over evil and Satan,  "I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven. In Luke 10:23-24, Jesus also declared to these disciples,  "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!

As a disciple of the living Christ, are you seeing the fall of Satan from heaven, within yourself and in those with whom you share the truth of the Gospel of Christ? Are you seeing demons and error states of mind are subject to and cast out by the word of truth you proclaim and the kingdom living  you demonstrate? Are you using the authority and divine commission given you by Abba Father, the living Christ and the Holy Spirit to further facilitate and demonstrate the fall of Satan within yourself, within all who you meet and in our midst?

Repentance, Alignment, Incarnation And Union With God

Galatians 5:1, 13-25, 'Living in the Spirit'

Jesus of Nazareth claimed and modeled proper alignment, full incarnation and union with God through the living Christ. Jesus did this by steadfastly locating Abba Father, Christ and the Holy Spirit [Trinity] and the kingdom of God within himself, within us and in our midst. God has given all people the freedom to choose to live in the same inter-penetrating, spiritual universe, ruled by the grace, loving-kindness and truth of the living Christ, which Jesus of Nazareth experienced in his earthly life.

Christ-centered spiritual mindedness is the universal foundation on which to establish the preeminence of the spiritual dimension of our human lives. God established the living Christ as the chief cornerstone on which to stand firm in liberty and freedom. God's way of freedom in living Christ is outlined in Isaiah 61:1-3.

Choosing repentance and turning to Christ brings spiritual healing, spiritual liberty, enlightenment, spiritual vision and practical application of the teaching of Jesus and Paul into all human lives, religions and cultures [Mark 1:14-15].  Paul proactively admonishes believers to choose Christ-centered, spiritual mindfulness. We are each designed to be holy temples of the living Christ. Let us therefore reclaim our freedom and divine heritage in and through the living Christ, by following Jesus of Nazareth.

Christ, The Sure Foundation For Kingdom Living

Ministry of the Apostles, a complex multi-figu...Image via Wikipedia
In today's Epistle, Galatians 3:24-29, Paul maintained that God’s original, Spirit-based, covenant relationship of true communion and abundant life with Abraham forever remains intact in the true Gospel of the living Christ for all people. Paul contrast's this covenant with the pervasive issue of mankind's rejection of direct Spirit-based, contact, communion and relationship with God and each other through the living Christ [Adonai].

Spiritual awakening and the practice of clothing ourselves with the living Christ were clearly revealed to Paul, through his personal encounter with the living Christ, on the road to Damascus [Acts 9:3-5]. Jesus Christ and Paul believed, experienced and taught the same faith and encounters with the incarnate, living Christ and the Holy Spirit.  Embracing and honoring the living Christ as the Image of God, within oneself and in all people is the sure foundation for spiritual awakening, building Christ-like character, spiritual maturity and further establishing the kingdom of God within us and in our midst [Luke 17:20-21].

Are you willing to seek and serve Christ in all people? Are you willing to clothe yourself with the living Christ? Do you believe the kingdom of God is within us and in our midst?

God Desires Faith In The Living Christ

Galatians 2:15-21, 'Faith in Christ Alone'

In Galatians 2:15-21, Paul recognized that Jesus Christ and all human beings are spirit, soul and body. Like Jesus Christ, Paul also discerned and proclaimed the mystery that every human spirit, soul and body should and could be the temple of the living God. Paul believed and practiced the same inclusive, Holy Spirit-based faith which Jesus Christ taught and modeled. Paul was transformed. He became the temple of the living God, through faith in the living Christ [John 3:16-17, Colossians 1:26-29].

Paul actually lived the Paschal Mystery. He discovered that his sins were forgiven and that he was put right with God through repentance, faith and Christ-centered spiritual awakening. Paul actually had a personal, encounter with the risen Christ, through his spiritual body. During that same encounter, the living Christ became the incarnate Lord in Paul's soul, mind and body, through his spiritual body.

Don't all believers have to go through the same personal internal encounters with the living Christ as we actually live the Paschal Mystery? Don't we all have to repent, choose humility, embrace Christ-centered faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit, steadfastly obey God's will for our lives in order to be delivered from bondage and slavery to sin? Don't we all need spiritual awakening before we can pass over into the freedom of God's love in the the living Christ and practice kingdom living [Luke 17:20-21]?

New Birth And New Life In Christ

In today's epistle Galatians 1:11-24, the apostle Paul portrays himself as God's messenger with divine authority to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to all cultures, nations and religions. Paul understood and lived the Paschal Mystery. Paul experienced the truth of a radical passing over from  bondage and slavery to sin into the freedom of God's love in the living Christ. Paul's commission and authority  to  proclaim the Paschal Mystery came through his personal encounter with the risen Christ on the road to Damascus.

Prior to his conversion experience, Paul was a devout and zealous Jewish religious leader who sought to stamp out the metaphor and mystical dimensions of the Jewish religion which Jesus as Rabbi and Messiah taught and  modeled. Paul's life as Saul of Tarsus, before his Christ-centered spiritual awakening, is symbolic of the erroneous and distructive wills, mindsets and actions of many sincere, carnal minded and zealous leaders, teachers and seekers in all the world religions.

These leaders and zealots are spiritually deaf, spiritually blind and spiritually dead. Many remain quite resistant and antagonistic to the truly inclusive, Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-based understanding and daily practical application of the Gospel of the living Christ, as proclaimed by the apostle Paul. Paul's ministry has become the major continued Holy Spirit-based revelation of God's redemption plan for all mankind through the living Christ.

After Christ-centered, spiritual awakening, many of those who were previously antagonist to Jesus and the Spirit-based Gospel of Christ have become its most enthusiastic and effective ambassadors. They have also experienced deliverance from slavery to sin and passed over into the freedom of God’s love in the living Christ. They assertively share their experiences of the Paschal Mystery through faith in the living Christ. This mystery can only be discerned and experienced through faith, grace, divine revelation and personal encounter with the risen Christ through one's own spiritual body.

Paul stressed that he actually received, embraced and proclaimed the same mystery of the new, inclusive, Christ-centered, Spirit-based version of the Christian faith, which Jesus of Nazareth had lived and proclaimed [John 3:3-7]. Paul declared that he actually received his revelation directly from the living Christ. Paul believed that Jesus also received his personal revelation from God, through the eternal incarnate, living Christ, in Jesus' spiritual body [John1: 1-5, 5:19, 30; Galatians 1:23-24, Colossians 1:24-29].

The apostle Paul remained steadfast in his faith and total dependence on the grace, guidance and truth revealed to him by God through the living Christ, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit in his and Jesus’ spiritual bodies [Galatians 1:15-16, Colossians1:24-29, 2 Corinthians 4:4-7]. Paul taught that the living Christ, who dwelt in Jesus Christ, had now become incarnate and also shone into his heart, germinating God’s wisdom, salvation and reconciliation. He believed that through the indwelling Christ, God would further establish and fully manifest the kingdom of God in our midst and within us [Mark 1:14-15, Luke17: 20-21].

Is it possible that this is why the apostle Paul, like Jesus, cautioned his followers to tell no man, that he was the living Christ [Luke 9:20-21, Galatians 2:20]? Is it likely that Paul and Jesus realized they were both called and sent by God, as Sons of Men, to reveal the living Christ as the only begotten Son of God and Image of God in all people [Genesis 1:26-27, Luke 9:22-26]? Like Jesus, Paul sought to become the full manifestation of the living Christ to others, in order that they might learn through him, and know the mind and presence of the living Christ and the anointing of the Holy Spirit in human flesh [Luke 4:16-19, 9:20-23, John 17:20-26, Galatians 1:15-17].

Many Christians therefore believe that Paul is the greatest teacher in the Christian church and the world, aside from Jesus Christ. Like Jesus, Paul also realized that the glory of man is the eternal and incarnate presence and character of the living Christ. Like Jesus, the apostle Paul also declared the full manifestion of the kingdom of God in and through every human life, through the living Christ [Matthew 6:6-10, Luke 17:20-21].

Grace revealed to Paul, the mystery of God's redemption through the indwelling Christ and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ, Paul and all people [John 1:14-18]. Are you willing to seek and serve Christ within yourself first and them within other people? Are you willing to consider, embrace and faithfully proclaim Paul's inclusive understanding and daily practical application of the Gospel of the incarnate, living Christ through the spiritual body of all people? Are you willing to explore and experience the New Birth and New Life that can be found in the daily practical application he metaphor and mystical dimensions of your religion, in your life?
