God Desires Faith In The Living Christ

Galatians 2:15-21, 'Faith in Christ Alone'

In Galatians 2:15-21, Paul recognized that Jesus Christ and all human beings are spirit, soul and body. Like Jesus Christ, Paul also discerned and proclaimed the mystery that every human spirit, soul and body should and could be the temple of the living God. Paul believed and practiced the same inclusive, Holy Spirit-based faith which Jesus Christ taught and modeled. Paul was transformed. He became the temple of the living God, through faith in the living Christ [John 3:16-17, Colossians 1:26-29].

Paul actually lived the Paschal Mystery. He discovered that his sins were forgiven and that he was put right with God through repentance, faith and Christ-centered spiritual awakening. Paul actually had a personal, encounter with the risen Christ, through his spiritual body. During that same encounter, the living Christ became the incarnate Lord in Paul's soul, mind and body, through his spiritual body.

Don't all believers have to go through the same personal internal encounters with the living Christ as we actually live the Paschal Mystery? Don't we all have to repent, choose humility, embrace Christ-centered faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit, steadfastly obey God's will for our lives in order to be delivered from bondage and slavery to sin? Don't we all need spiritual awakening before we can pass over into the freedom of God's love in the the living Christ and practice kingdom living [Luke 17:20-21]?
