Righteous Faith In Living The Paschal Mystery

Reference scripture: Romans 4:15-25, 'Abraham's mighty faith'

Key Verse: Therefore his (Abraham's) faith was was reckoned to him as righteousness. Now the words, "It was reckoned to him", were not for his sake alone. But for ours also... (Romans 4:22-24a).

In today's epistle to the Roman believers, the apostle Paul declares that God's New Covenant, as revealed in Christ Jesus, is based on the same righteousness of faith in God's promises, found in God's covenant with Abraham. The apostle Paul declares this universal, human initiative of righteousness of faith is not found in the blood of animals or humans, nor the works of the law. Paul affirms that Abraham's faith like Jesus Christ's faith, became the righteous of God, because their faith in God's promises, was based in the mind of the spirit (Romans 4:16-18).

The apostle Paul discerned and taught that Christ (Logos, ADONAI, JEHOVAH), is the image and likeness of God, in the spiritual body of Adam, Eve, Abraham, Jesus Christ and every persons. In the mind of the spirit, Christ-centered, spiritually awake believers in all traditions, religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups will discern that God has always fulfilled his promises, to mankind in and through Christ. Because Jesus Christ as Messiah, in faith, humility and obedience lived the Paschal Mystery in the mind of the spirit, he became the scepter of God's righteousness, and the full incarnation and manifestation of the Godhead in human flesh (Romans 4:19).

In John 14:6, Jesus Christ declared, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through me". In the Gospel of Christ, as revealed in Jesus Christ, Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-based believers in all traditions, religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups can, in the mind of the spirit, also become the righteousness of God. By following Jesus Christ in living the Paschal Mystery in the mind of the spirit, they can know reconciliation with God, one another and all creation in Christ. By faith, humility and obedience they can also experience the full incarnation and manifestation of the Godhead in human flesh (Romans 4:19).

In the mind of the spirit, Abraham maintained steadfast faith in God as Spirit. His old age and Sarah's barrenness did not distract nor diminish his faith in God's promises. Both Abraham and Sarah hoped against hope. In the mind of the spirit, adversities seem to strengthen their faith. Instead of being discouraged, Abraham gave glory to God, in the midst of his adversities  (Romans 4:20).

Because Abraham lived in the mind of the spirit, he knew God. In the mind of the spirit he also knew the true nature, substance, value and wisdom of God's promises.  He recognized God as divine love (chesed). He knew God is always faithful (emeth) concerning his promises. The apostle Paul assures us that this same faith in God and God's promises, in the mind of the spirit, is imputed to all mankind as the righteous of God, in human flesh (Romans 4:21-23).

Christ-centered spiritually awake believers in all traditions, religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups believe that, in the mind of the spirit, the Godhead became fully incarnate and fully manifest in human flesh, in Jesus Christ as Messiah (Colossians 2:9). They believe the Godhead raised Jesus Christ from the dead. They believe Jesus Christ was crucified, that he died and was raised on the third day. They believe Jesus Christ was delivered from the dead for mankind's deliverance from the spiritual death, bondage and slavery to sins in and of the mind of the flesh. They believe Jesus Christ was resurrected to life again for mankind's spiritual resurrection, salvation, justification and sanctification in Christ (Romans 4:24-25).

Are you following Abraham, Jesus Christ and the apostle Paul by placing your faith in God and God's promises in the mind of the spirit? Are you following Jesus Christ in seeking proper mental alignment, the incarnation and the full manifestation of the Godhead, in your life, in the mind of the spirit? Is it possible, when following Jesus Christ in living the Paschal Mystery in the mind of the spirit, that the shed blood of Jesus Christ is the biblical symbol for, living one's life in the mind of the spirit, which Jesus Christ revealed, taught, shared and manifested to all mankind as Messiah?
