The Faithful and True Witness of the Paschal Mystery

1 Peter 1:17-23, 'True Witness of the Christ of Faith'
Mankind's new life in and through the incarnation and reign of universal Christ of Faith is for all who choose to follow the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery.  Spiritual blindness, spiritual deafness, spiritual sleep and spiritual death have caused human beings to lose sight of our true identity as eternal spiritual beings. Down through the ages and generations we have lost sight of the fact that like the historical Jesus, we are all going through temporary incarnate human experiences.
Today's Gospel account of the risen historical Jesus walking along and talking with Cleophas and his companion on the road to Emmaus, highlight the universal human problems of spiritual blindness, spiritual deafness, spiritual sleep and spiritual death (Luke 24:13-25). Serious and devastating mental blocks have developed to the normal human experience of the incarnation of Christ of Faith, as mankind's indwelling Savior and Lord. Many have denied and lost sight of the universal Christ-centered spiritual mindedness, which the historical Jesus revealed, taught and modeled.
In Christ-centered spiritual consciousness, believers in all religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups discern and experience the Christ of Faith, as the wellspring of God’s eternal light, life, love, law, grace and truth, springing up and flowing freely from the very center of one’s own being. In Christ consciousness, Abba Father, the eternal invisible Christ of Faith, and the Holy Spirit are discerned and realized as God's grace, love, fullness and glory, being made incarnate and manifested through our eternal spiritual bodies.
The universal Christ of Faith, the Image and Likeness of God, forever dwells in the spiritual body of all people (Genesis 1:26-27). The Invisible Christ of Faith forever brings the faithful and true spiritual witness of the Holy Spirit-based appropriation needed to follow the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery. Faith and humility with true repentance, surrender and obedience to the Christ of Faith are the human initiative, which God requires for human beings to know and experience the mysteries of spiritual resurrection, the born again experience, new birth and being born from above (1 Peter 1:23).
